WWE 2k’s newest chapter to its series has finally arrived! Developed by Yuke’s and Visual Concepts, WWE 2k15 is a PEGI 16 rated wrestling game. It launched on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in North America on Oct. 28, 2014 and internationally Oct. 21, 2014. The game’s release to the newer consoles happened on November 18, 2014 for North America and internationally November 21st. The game was published by 2K Sports owned by the company Take 2 Interactive which is located in New York City.

Improvements and mini-games have been added to the wrestling matches as well as Career mode, single and multiplayer mode, and a creation mode where you get to design your own character. New face and body scanning technology has also improved game graphics, portraying characteristics of superstar wrestlers to near perfection. This version does have its shortcomings as well, and quite a few of them. WWE 2k15 suffers a low rating 56 from Metacritic and a 2.6 from its users, 4/10 stars from Gamespot, and 3/10 from Eurogamer. It seems the sharp graphics couldn’t distract players from wrong character information and lack of choice in characters. Complaints such as glitches, inability to perform moves, as well as outdated designs and information have impacted on the game’s ratings.. The game features other shortcomings including the inability to use this creation mode to create female characters. The roster, limited in choice already, has not been updated to the new roster of superstars that currently appear on WWE. With wrestlers such as Rey Mysterio and CM Punk still appearing in the game..
